Billing, cancellation & refunds

This page explains who charges you for a paid Pro subscription, how to cancel, and how refunds work. It supplements our terms of use and privacy policy.

1. Two parties in the transaction

• Acto (Yaakov Aharon Walles, exempt dealer) - provides the software, your account, and product support under our terms of use.
• Lemon Squeezy - merchant of record for paid Pro purchases. Lemon collects payment, issues receipts/invoices, handles sales tax/VAT for your location, and processes payment refunds under the Lemon Squeezy buyer terms.

In short: you buy Pro access through Lemon Squeezy; you use the Acto product under our terms. Your statement may show Lemon Squeezy or lemonsqueezy.com.

2. Price and currency

The price shown at checkout (for example about $9/month USD, or an equivalent in another currency) is before tax. The final amount includes tax/VAT based on your country. Regional pricing may apply when enabled. Founders (the first 100 who actually start using the product) are not charged for the core product.

3. Cancelling a subscription

• Usually - via Manage billing in Acto Settings, which opens the Lemon Squeezy customer portal.
• Or email us at office@haindex.co.il.

After cancellation, Pro access typically continues until the end of the paid period, unless Lemon Squeezy or applicable law says otherwise.

4. Refund requests

• Contact us first at office@haindex.co.il with your account email and order details from your Lemon Squeezy receipt.
• Payment refunds are processed by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record, at their discretion and under their buyer terms - not directly by Yaakov Aharon Walles.
• If mandatory consumer law in your country gives you additional cancellation or refund rights, those rights apply alongside Lemon Squeezy's terms.
